Who Are We?
Liz Adelman and Genevieve Dean partnered in 2016 to create the AdelmanDean Group. Together, they offer 20+ years of experience in public relations, media relations, event planning, corporate communications, social media strategy, business development,marketing and advertising consultation services to their clients.
Genevieve Dean is an experienced marketing professional with 10+ years in all facets of the industry, including both traditional and interactive/digital. She has an extensive background in building strategic plans to create awareness and drive interest in both national and local markets to influence a targeted audience.
Genevieve began her career in Chicago working with brands like Wrangler, Cars.com, Chicago White Sox, US Cellular, Sears, Chicago Botanic Garden, to name a few. She entered the Des Moines market in 2012 where she was able to continue her work building and implementing strategic plans for Pella Windows & Doors, Indian Motorcycle, Victory Motorcycles and several other national brands.
Liz Adelman is a seasoned public relations professional who specializes in achieving clients’ goals through media and public relations, marketing, community relations, special event planning and social media strategies. She is originally from Fairfax, Virginia and has an undergraduate degree in Social Work from Longwood University and a master’s degree in Strategic Public Relations from Virginia Commonwealth University.
As the owner of Adelman Public Relations since 2011, Liz has worked with clients like Des Moines Arts Festival®, Art Week Des Moines, Two Rivers Hospitality Group, United Way of Central Iowa, Greater Des Moines Public Art Foundation and Percival Scientific, an Iowa-based biotech company.
