Liz Adelman is a seasoned communications professional with over 12 years of professional experience. She co-founded the AdelmanDean Group in 2016 to provide results-oriented media relations campaigns, event planning, content marketing, and communications strategies designed to meet her clients’ goals and objectives.

Originally from Fairfax, Virginia Liz has an undergraduate degree from Longwood University and a master’s degree in Strategic Public Relations from Virginia Commonwealth University.  Before co-founding the AdelmanDean Group, she was the President of Adelman Public Relations. 

Liz is an active member of the central Iowa community. Organizations that she volunteers her time with include: United Way of Central Iowa, Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity, Boys and Girls Club, and the Des Moines Art Center. 

In 2013, she co-founded Art Week Des Moines, a week-long celebration that aims to elevate and celebrate the central Iowa art community.

In 2016, Liz was awarded Des Moines Business Record Forty Under 40.

Liz and her husband David, live in Des Moines with their three boys, Michael, Ben, and Sam.

Genevieve Dean is an experienced marketing professional in all facets of the industry, including both traditional and digital communications. She has an extensive background in building strategic communications plans for a wide variety of local and national clients. In 2016, Genevieve partnered with Liz Adelman to establish the AdelmanDean Group.

After graduating with a degree in Communication Studies from the University of Iowa, Genevieve began her career in advertising in Chicago, working with brands such as Wrangler, Cars.com, Chicago White Sox, US Cellular, Sears and the Chicago Botanic Garden.

Genevieve moved to Des Moines in 2012. She worked in account service for Integer and after that for Performance Marketing, where she managed and implemented strategic communications plans for several brands including, Pella Windows & Doors, Indian Motorcycle, and Victory Motorcycles.

Genevieve is involved with several central Iowa non-profits. Organizations that she volunteers her time with include: Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines, Iowa Environmental Council, Salisbury House Foundation and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. 

Genevieve and her husband Ross live in Des Moines with their son Everett.
